I can't wait till spring. I am quite anxious because I just started them last spring! I hope your BD and Valentine's day was everything and more than you expected. I showed my Rottie puppy and she got best of breed (beat quite a few champians) I am quite proud! I live in a warm, high humidity area also in South Carolina, USA. We are at 35deg North latitude and have Winter temperatures well below 0 deg C. Muscadine grapes grow wild here, but will not grow well in southern Florida as they would not go dormant. Try spraying your grapes with "eppsom salts"(Magnesium Sulfate), 1cc/liter or more, as the qrapes form to make the grapes sweeter. This works with melons. Also you may need to add lime (calcium carbonate and magnesium carbonate) to the soil. Find out the soil PH you need for your Grapes (PH 6.5????). Danie had a note on Magnesium about a year ago.
