This is an amazing video that makes allot of sense. Maybe if some you can try this out to see if you can stop Japanese beetles from attacking your grape vines.
Would love to hear your comments!
Take care

Thanks for the great idead, I will certainly give it a go. When is the best time of year to install one. I live in Southern Spain and we have a lot of Japanese beetles here.
Thanks once again
Good job!! If you hadn’t tried it, theoretically it STILL makes sense!! Thanks for making that suggestion available!! Wish they had traps for more of the leaf mooching insects!!
Where would you find the trap at the top for your pipe? It could be made, but what is used for “bait” at the top?
Sounds like an easy remedy.
Hi Danie;
This is a good trap, but is it that I will envite more from the neighbors yard? We have acres of land around here. How many trap do I need? Thanks!
Danie,
Where do you get the bait and the bug funnel/yellow plastic holder? Good video, thanks.
Mike
Fantastic, where are you experiencing these beetles? I have never seen them in the UK or Spain, but that does’nt mean they are not there, my 6 vines are new!
Where do you get the trap that you put into the pipe?
Where can I get the beatle insert, Jim
Hello Danie,
Very interesting! I went to Italy 2 years ago and they had vinegar cans hung locally to attract the eating bugs. I like your idea better. Thanks! I have only 24 vines right now but I appreciate all your help. I have your e book and I have an “expert” neighbor from Albania helping me tahnx again
