Hi Danie,
Merry Christmas to you & your family and a healthy, prosperous ne year. My grapes are doing OK – just. I will layer one cane when I return from our winter travels & that will give me a bit more to play with.
May all your grapes be big & sweet.
Don’t mention the cricket.
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Thank you for your expert insight to the grape world as it is truly exciting to learn from you. Have a wonderful day. God speed. V/r, Chuck
I would like to thank you for your news letters which I really enjoy. It is still unfortunate that I cannot print this e-book. 1. I have no printer available and 2. it’s 120 pages. I need to be able to carry this with me to consult when I am at my allotment. Maybe one day you will find an answer to this problem. I’m sure that I am not alone about this.
But now, have a very Happy Christmas and the best in 2009
Hi Danie,
Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year to you and your family. I enjoyed every newsletter I received. Continue educating the world about growing grapes because it helps people like myself who didn’t know anything about growing grapes, now I know, thanks to you.

merry Christmas Danie, and thank you for invaluable help over the past year. It has made my job as a vineyard worker so much better as i now have more confidence in how i look after the vines. Apart from some late frost damage they are doing fine, and i have just planted out 250 viognier vines. Hope they do well! Thank you very much again and i will be buying your book in the new year. Thankyou
Danie,
Thanks for all the excellent infomation through your newsletter. And “Feliz Navidad” and a prosperous New Year from the oldest wine growing region in the U.S. (New Mexico). Early cuttings brought in with the 1598 Gov. Don Juan de Onate colonists by mission priests for sacramental wine purposes. Keep up the good work. Regards from New Mexico.

Danie:
Wishing you a Merry Christmas as well. I have been reading about two years now. The information you provide is invaluable. I grow
at my home. Two thompson seedless and two willamette seedless on a modified trellis system you recommend. I am going for a canopy type like at your house/vineyard. I am at the upper tiers (approx 8′). My yield this year was phenomenal! I couldn’t give away enough grapes to family and neighbors. Thanks so much for the help and have a safe and happy holiday season.
To a great 2009!
RichP
Hi Rich,
That’s great! Send me some picture in the future.
Danie
Hi Danie
Thank you for all the information that you’ve sent me it has been a great help, I only have two vines which I planted at the beginning of this year on my allotment. They are both seedless, ones a white grape the other is red, they are both looking very sorry for themselves now as we have had some quite hard frosts these past few weeks.
I have tried to reply to you before but I was unable to send the message so I hope you receive this one.
I hope you and your family have a very MERRY XMAS and a PROSPEROUS NEW YEAR
Regards David

Hi Reginald,
We repaired most of the damage to the vineyards and to the the river banks, but the river itself needs more attention; will get to that in April – no time for that now!

Merry Christmas from Galesburg, Illinois!!!
I’m a newbie at this! But I got my first bottle of Concord Grape wine today from a local Illinois winery! The owner delivered it to my house personally! I can’t wait to try it.
Does anyone have a recipe for making concorde grap wine (mogan davidstyle) in a Wine Pod??? They don’t sell a program to run it like that yet! That’s how I’m going to make my wine, until I can grow the grapes myself! http://www.winepod.net
Any suggestion are welcome.
Tianca
Hi Tianca,
I’ve seen the winepod before, ever used one?
Thanks for the reply.
